New appointment set to extend Imperial’s reputation as a software pioneer

Imperial has confirmed the appointment of Paul Stock as Software Development Manager. With 20 years experience in software development, cyber security and cloud-based technologies he now takes responsibility for the enforcement and smart city technology specialist’s 14-strong Programming and Development Team based at the company’s Head office in Bristol.

Formerly a Senior Development Manager in Symantec’s Security and Technology Division, Stock will be focusing on project management and the ongoing development, functionality and interoperability of Imperial’s existing suite of software systems. He will also play a central role in the development of pioneering new cloud-based solutions for Imperial’s clients in both the public and private sectors, capitalising on his experience in developing scalable and high performance software systems and secure cloud platforms.

Having graduated in Computer Science, Paul Stock’s career has focused exclusively on the development of ground-breaking software and cloud solutions for companies including Logica CMG, Evolved intelligence and CensorNet as well as Symantec.
